This is not just the story of a race, but a journey into the emotions, friendship and passion that united the athletes as they ran along the streets of the Eternal City.
17 athletes wearing Strongers jerseys ran the Run Rome The Marathon!
Raffaele ran, as always, all 42km, while the other 16 made up the 4 teams that competed in the relay!

Marathon is not a race for just anyone; in addition to being trained athletes, one must have the right mental strength to overcome the pitfalls of fatigue.
Nevertheless, facing a marathon can be a rewarding and personally fulfilling experience. Mental resilience and determination are key to reaching the finish line!
Participating in the relay was a privilege, because without having to run 42 km we were able to run together with the marathon runners and experience their determination.
Athletes of all ages from all over the world and dressed in the most diverse ways.
A boy ran dressed as Dragonball, some wore flip-flops and not running shoes.
A marathon runner ran in a suit and tie with a bowler hat on his head, but there would be so many more characters to tell!

Run Rome The Marathon was also a wonderful opportunity to spread the values of sports and health!
While the athletes were running through the streets of Rome, our fantastic volunteers were at our booth at the Circus Maximus, welcoming all the families and athletes to the Stracittadina.
Visitors responded positively, showing considerable interest in our sports initiatives and our commitment to funding lung cancer scientific research.
March 17 was also a great opportunity to test knowledge of sports and health and how they are closely related.
In fact, STRONGERS promotes sports as a tool for improving one’s health at every opportunity, encouraging the adoption of healthy habits in nutrition and physical activity.
Special thanks to our volunteers who represented Strongers at the Circus Maximus Stand!
THANK YOU!!!
